I remember winning the East and watching natinals win the whole bundle. Bad!

I didn't say they were playing to win the East. I just said that they would, which means they'll have decent playoff positioning. The Braves, with this roster, are aiming too low if they are playing primarily to win the East, even though the NL East is the deepest division.

I have a lot of fear about this team in certain spots, but that's no different than the past 15 years.

On paper I'd say we're 2nd in the NL, and anything can happen once you get in the playoffs.

On paper, you could argue that the Padres are #2. I'm not sure if they actually are - I don't think their lineup top to bottom is as consistent as Atlanta, but you could definitely make an argument.

Also, if the Mets weren't the Mets, I'd be more optimistic about them.
