I didn't get to see the play live so two thoughts.

1.) How the hell did that umpire call that a strike?

2.) I feel bad for the Nats pitcher. He seemed really tore up about it and they didn't bring in anyone to replace him. What a crappy move by the Nats manager.

Correct. Squaring to bunt is not a strike. There has to be an attempt at the ball. He did not.
