Stras has had such an interesting career path. If he was an unheralded 20th round draft pick, people would say he's a fantastic pitcher, albeit injury prone. Since he was one of the most hyped prospects of all time, the balance of his career is seen as somewhat underwhelming, plus he's injury prone.

He only throws, on average, 136 innings per year.

He’s not exactly durable but you take out the 2010-2011 season he averages 163.

I see your point, but that was a major elbow injury that you can't really just disregard. And 163 isn't a very high number either.

Even with those seasons removed, look at the durability relative to a guy like Sale, Price, Scherzer, Kluber, Kershaw (and even he's been fragile lately) over the balance of their careers. He's significantly more fragile than them.

Strasburg's only gone over 200 innings once. Kluber's done that 5 times, and he came into the league one year later than Strasburg did.

If there’s none on and two outs in the third Gausman needs to drill him

That’s not auto ejection worthy

If they warn both teams beforehand then sure, leave it alone

Yeah, the whole thing is pointless; especially when it's the worst team in the division. Just beat em.

I don’t think they’ll eject Gausman if he hits him anyway. Everyone knows it’s coming and I’d bet Snit and Mattingly have talked about it.

I think the biggest part of it that bothers me is that Urena decided to hit Ronald on his own. There was no directive from the manager or anything. So when you say hitting Realmuto was good enough, I don’t think so.

Urena pulled a chickenshit move them ducked us for as long as he could so that we’d maybe let it go.

Nah.
