The Atlanta Braves Thread

Seriously, you start the WS today and go through Saturday, give Sunday off (and don’t compete with NFL Sunday!) and then finish Monday-Wednesday...what am I missing? Then the LCS games could have had a day off instead of 7 in 7.

I can’t imagine anybody doing anything free agent-wise until there’s some idea what’s going on with Covid and if there will be fans in the stands. Worst year ever to have an expiring contract.

And a pending lockout next year!

I know I’m being illogical, but Tomlin being used in game 2 legit probably cost us the series. If Snit uses Greene the Braves could have made Tomlin throw 90 pitches in game 3, they save Ynoa for 3 innings in game 5 and use Minter behind him, and they probably win
This isn’t how it works, man.

They made more plays when it mattered most and we made more mistakes, simple as that.

random occurrence of the week

I’m out sucking up leaves (oak trees). An acorn falls (I assume) and hits directly onto the point of my shoulder. Sounded and felt like I was shot, arm immediately went numb. No residual pain and regained feeling a few minutes later but those odds have to be supremely minuscule.

I was mowing the grass last week and got an acorn to the skull. Hurt like hell. I looked up as if I was going to see a rogue squirrel laughing.

For some reason I immediately thought of Luis Avilan
