On the surface, his complaining and excuse making may seem more like an annoyance than an issue, but it’s exactly what holds him back. I guarantee he was on the mound thinking about it, blaming it on external factors. Kicking the can down the road. Letting it fester in his head, while on the mound.

If he only he had that Max Ace mindset.

Folty was that kid in Little League yelling at the coaches and his Daddy in the stands after walking a batter.

I don't really think that's something you can fix. Especially as a 28-year-old.

How does a team that built around pitching have these options when it really matters? Then wastes $18 million on a dude that may not pitch???
