I really hope simmons is hurt given how people gargle on his balls. He didn't get to a single thing last night and several were less than three steps away. One was a step-dive that wasn't all too difficult and he was slow and late.

I know, but why did they shift on a right handed pull hitter? Was the third baseman playing past the foul line? They have never dont that s hit before. Why did they do it last night? Routine balls, man.

Elliot Johnson was less than impressive defensively as well.

Everyone but fredi knows he can't hit.

I hope and pray he doesn't run Gattis out to LF again. That's sheep to the slaughter. He is a catcher and a catcher only, and it is painfully obvious.

Elliot Johnson 0-4 3 K's 4 men stranded. Also shoud've been charged with an error. I am quite confident we could've got that same production out of Uggla.

I am hoping Wren intervenes, hell anyone for that matter. Hell, maybe you can look him up in the phonebook and talk some sense in him. This is ridiculous.

Also, what a laughing stock our organization looks like, BJ is on the bench and Uggla couldn't even crack the 25 man. They are 2 of our biggest acquistions in the last several years.

I am actually in the players parking lot right now camped out in front of the entrance to the stadium. Fredi will have some sense "talked" into him one way or another

Braves and the Pirates got worked. I swear, next year, I am going to intentionally root against the teams I want to win. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Brown, I meant to ask you if you watched Kershaw warming up in the outfield last night? If so...is that routine something a lot of pitchers do? I was impressed.

We sat just a few rows from the field on the RF line last night, and the amount of heckling that Puig took last night was pretty astounding. I know he's young, and it sounds like they slurped him pretty hard on TV last night, but I was still amazed that Braves fans had worked up so much venom for a guy on a team we rarely okay.
