This settles it. Freak isn't regular enough to know the rules, so he's exempt just like any other cropduster.

I don't know the exact rules, but the concept is pretty obvious.

Well, yes; it's not particularly complicated. But I don't know that you're retroactively obliged to have known that you have to be paranoid about anything you post in here. Especially since you did offer the "don't know if it's already been posted" disclaimer. This whole thing is a Constitutional Crisis of Jimmyhood.

"Don't know if it's already been posted" does not exempt you from the Jimmy. If you want to exempt Freak since he's not a regular, that's one thing. No other written disclaimers should ever get you out of the Jimmy.

If you're one of us regular degenerates, then no quarter. Agreed. Keep up with the thread or FO. But for someone who doesn't regularly read the thread, and then posts something with the disclaimer......I think that does count for something.

The upshot is that if it had been any of our other occasional cropdusters, I wouldn't even think about making him take the Jimmy. So it hardly seems fair to foist it on Freak just because it would be like making the Pope wear a Groucho Marx mustache all day.

Ah, this is an outstanding idea. However. If we send Freak out into the world into a thread like that with his Jimmy avi, then all that whole thread is going to be about is his Jimmy avi. And why he's got it. And where Fight Club is.
