Air Force vs navy might not be played this weekend because of shutdown. Would bet everything is taken care of by then though

Beating UGA would be a big deal for Jones as far as holding the recruiting class together. Even one win like that would be significant for this program. There's no real difference to the Braves going forward between getting swept in the first round or losing the World Series 1991-style.

I think a Pennant is legitimate pride/celebration worthy. Nothing short of that though. Playing in the WS used to be the dream. The notion of not a successful season unless you win it all is a recent one.

(Spoken like a true Braves' fan.)

This day at work seems never ending, don't think I have looked forward to a game as much as tonight's since the 2001 sec championship game. Of course that ended in one of the worst sports related gut punches, so hopefully this ends better

At this point, winning one damn playoff series would be pride-worthy. What I meant was that whatever happens in the playoffs is probably meaningless for the Braves going forward into the future. Whereas a big upset win for the Vols this year could have a real effect on a recruiting class that we desperately need to be great.

I already told you what the outcome was going to be.

Relax my friend.

:hi:

We'll see, unfortunately or fortunately October baseball is always tough to predict. Best of puck either way

You as well.

I'm 5 or 6 rows from the field in section 123 on Thursday night and on the first row of 331 Friday night. Should be decent seats.

I'm not so sure about that. Everything I'm hearing on my end says that we need to be prepared for this to go a couple weeks...

Hope that's not the case.
