The Atlanta Braves Thread (Terry Pendleton Edition)

I completely agree with the principle, but he's 100 yards away and there's a 99 percent chance it's not even a real fight. Which it wasn't. Plus he's a stoner; I mean, I don't really expect him to come sprinting in and throwing guys out of the way to get to the front for a 1 percent chance that a donnybrook might actually be going on. (And I say this as someone who's completely bought into the Hockey Code of Frontier Justice.)

This. Gattis' spirtual guru turned him to pacifism, amongst other things. Namely, weed.

Then he is useless. If any real **** ever goes down, I need him receiving punishment, doling out punches, taking suspensions. Freeman and Mac are actually important.

I don't think we will ever see the Braves come to punches, like actual real punches. Baseball scrums the worst. All talkey, no walkey. Useless might have been a tad strong of word IMO, though.

What was Zimmer thinking, man?

Any Braves fans with advice on how to deal with this damn 1 game playoff? Next Tuesday is going to be the longest day EVER.

Yes . . . If, by chance, a situation arises with, say, runners on in a force situations with less than 2 outs . . . do NOT hit any any shallow pop ups to the outfield.

Come on now. He def. runs out there first and gets in Gomez' face but he immediately gets behind Pendleton and pretty much keeps Pendleton in front of him on purpose...

No use analyzing. It's a baseball fight. It's sort of like a nuclear standoff. Both teams want to feign a show of force, but nobody actually wants to do anything.
