Didn't a UF lineman go offsides that play? That's what they do when a player goes offsides.

Presumably they thought a UF player went offsides, but there was no call. So while they stood there like idiots, their QB got hassled into throwing an awful pass, which resulted in an offensive pass interference call, moving us back well out of FG range. I never want to see that crap again.

LOL. Nearly a full decade of losing to one if out biggest rivals starts to wear on you. However, like others have stated, it's not like anything has happened yet that a reasonable person wouldn't have expected. If anything, we really exceeded my expectations going into today. Just frustrating to see UF play so damn bad and us completely lack any sort of competence to cash in on it.

I agree whole heartedly! This was a blown opportunity like we haven't seen in a while. Let's just not relive it here in this thread.

There's an entire forum dedicated to negativity, useless rambling, overreaction, and general *****ing and moaning. An entire forum for it.

Jesus, a rabona onside kick! That's every bit if not more impressive than the handful of goals scored with that kick in soccer.

As someone who has played soccer almost their entire life, I still have no clue how people cross the ball from the wings with that motion. I've tried and I can hit about 5 yards.

Word of advice to anyone who wants to try it, you better be wearing cleats or you'll end up making a fool of yourself. The first time I ever tried this me and some friends were just messing around in their backyard, and figured I'd give it a shot. I was wearing tennis shoes and my clumsy self ended up kicking my plant foot out from under myself, I completely whiffed on the ball and ended up landing in my back and looking like an idiot. LOL

I'd rather not see that entire game ever again.

Shoutout to reg..Oregon pick the score contest winner. I'll take the gift card if you don't want it

Wow. Thanks for the heads-up. I had no idea I was the closest. Not quite sure how I was deemed the winner anyway, but I'll gladly take it.

They didn't lay down? That's about all I got out of today. With competent QB play we'd be a pretty decent team

My takeaways

1. As you say, we didn't quit, which is at least a giant improvement over the past few years.
2. Our supposedly awesome OL isn't really very good at all.
3. We have no speed and we're doomed until we do.
4. The QB situation is such a cluster that it's already making me wonder WTF Butch is thinking.

If "not quitting in the third quarter" counts as turning the corner quickly, then maybe Larry is right.
