Surely you can admit there's a huge difference between being tied at 10 at halftime and bring down 17-7. That's certainly not to say we would have won, but Jones left Peterman in there just long enough to ensure we had no shot.

Can remember why I had you on ignore after all your bs after our BJ Upton vs Pena leadoff debate back in April. Bringing up things after the fact in only the smartass way you can.


Also pumped the braves can hang that banner again.

Ya peterman should have gotten the hook a lot sooner. It's questionable that he even started at all.

But having the ball deep in Florida territory and wanting to do nothing more than center the ball and kick a FG to tie the game in the FIRST half is stupid. Did you think it was going to end 10-10? You think we're gonna rattle off three more pick sixes? You think we can sustain drives? You've already got the thing at the 30, try to score.

Assuming the second half played out the same (which obviously it wouldn't have) a 10-10 halftime score has us trailing 24-20 with 10 minutes to play. I like that scenario better than 31-17. Just saying, sometimes discretion is the better part of valor.

How are we subtracting their points? We kick that FG and they don't score..because?

Cubs take the lead. The day just keeps getting worse. I was really hoping to see the Braves actually go out and win the division so we'd get to see the celebration as opposed to just defaulting into it with a Nats loss. Thankfully the Nats are playing the Marlins, so we may just be waiting till tomorrow.
