Actually, no. I saw your point and i'm not trying to "stir" any pot. But what he did is usually reserved for pee-wee football, he actually appeared to have the TE open...

And what if we make the FG? Or even miss? Its still FL ball on their own 25, instead of the pick taking them to UT 45.

I can't believe this is a debate. 3 and 9 on the 26. Run the ball to the middle of the field down 10-7 with 5minutes to go. And with all that's gone on you have a CHANCE to be tied.

You guys are basically arguing we should allow Peterman to thow for the first down here and it's borderline insanity. It was a 3 point game...and a sure QB change coming at the half.

I agree with you completely. You're down by 3, have a defense that is giving the other teams offense trouble, are in range for at least a decent shot at a game tying FG, and know your QB is ass-awful. You play for the FG in that situation.

Zero talent at the QB position right now. We need Riley in. May as wel get him experience. You can't tell me he gives us a worse shot to win

I get the argument others are making, we have a historically crap FG kicker. And if we had even decent QB play, sure you pass. I'm talking about this specific scenario. Run the ball, attempt the FG

Honestly, I have renewed faith in Butch's ability to assess talent...which tells me Riley doesn't need to be anywhere near this game.

At the same time, I say put him in. WGAF.

Guy took zero reps this week. Throw him in now and be gets slaughtered. No thanks. Let him go next week in a tune up game If you're committing to him the rest of 2013

Totally agree. You have to play for the FG, Parlady or not. UF is trying like hell to give us this game and we aren't even trying to take it.

He's honestly probably better than Worley, he just **** the bed in the spotlight. May as well get use to it, mike minor is gonna whirl the same beaut in two weeks.

That level of offensive competence would have easily had us the lead at halftime. Kind of a shame Butch didn't have Peterman on a shorter hook.

The defense is starting to get exhausted. They really held up their end of the bargain for two and a half quarters, but the offense really didn't give them any shot when they've been out there 30 minutes after only 3 quarters.

Imagine if we had only say one giveaway in the first half? We can't ask for anymore "breaks" to get back in this game. We had all we needed for an early lead. And you are right. We were already behind on paper in speed. Now you add fatigue and a team used to losing late, and this is where we start to get gashed.

I really wish we would have kicked that field goal in the first half. That 18 point deficit would look much less daunting.

Give it one more drive to try and get 7. If not, go par or the course and start getting depth guys more reps. IF you are going to start Riley next week, you get him a few series here and ALL the reps this week. Otherwise, keep in Worley to take the beating, and get in the reps for bench.
