Definitely. AA has shown an eye for MLB talent (was with the Blue Jays when they got Bautista and Encarnacion) so I trust him

Are we sold on this Tucker guy being good? He's got about 150 games under his belt and bats .220

I think the idea is that he gives you what Markakis gives you, is younger and cheaper, and does not hinder bringing up a guy like Pache if he’s as good as we think.

I think the idea is that he gives you what Markakis gives you, is younger and cheaper, and does not hinder bringing up a guy like Pache if he’s as good as we think.

My issue with Markakis is he does the same exact thing Ender does offensively. If we had two all power/high K guys in center and left I probably wouldn’t mind him so much. But seeing your second highest paid player not able to slug .400 on a team that has had one power threat in three years it is annoying. I would have love Markakis on the 10-13 Braves playing left field but with this current team he doesn’t do much.

I’m still not sold fully on Riley. Brown won’t like it but I think you see us sign Donaldson to something like 4/$90M for next year.

Risky to give that much money to a 33 year old with no DH to help offset that. Not sure there is a better option though. And it seems like AA is going to make a move with all the salary he cleared.

I dont think we go 4 years I think 2 but with the threat of Donaldson, Freddie should get more pitches to hit

Yeah - I don't have a lot of hope for that one. When I read these articles about how much $ the braves will have this winter I just really have a hard time seeing us spend any on a guy like that. Maybe we will buy us a pitcher.

My hope is they use the freed up money to lock down guys like Ozzie and Acuna to long term deals.
