Sorry to take the thread off topic, but I had a weird dream/nightmare about the Braves last night.

The Braves traded for Alex Rodgriguez and C.C. Sabathia. Fredi showed up at my apartment to drink a beer, and I asked him if he had ever coached a diva like ARod before. He said yes, but that what he was really worried about was the expectations because, as he said, "I don't deal well with expectations."

I have been sick to my stomach all day thinking about the prospects of ever sitting down to have a beer with Fredi.

If Cuonzo's going to hitch his wagon to a bunch of Memphis kids, he's going to have to get used to a steady stream of disappointments. That place is quicksand for UT coaches. Always has been, always mostly will be.

I don't follow basketball recruiting, but I haven't noticed him recruiting anyone here in Atlanta. Is that the case? Lots of players, half the distance, close to zero pressure to stay home and play for the local school. A far better use of resources than Memphis I'd think.
