Especially when i needed 6 more yards from Benson, and he wasn't even in on the last Arizona drive. I was hoping like hell he'd miss that FG and force OT.

Because 50 yards is a cake walk for these kickers.......

Although there's been a lot of missed FGs this year.

Teams can prep kicker footballs now, so they're kicking them further.

Two weeks ago against NY, Dallas lined up for a 62 yard kick to tie...... and he made another 60+ yard kick for the win.

Dallas plays in a dome and has a once in a generation (lifetime? ever?) kicker.

This scrub for the Seahawks had just missed the same kick and was 12/19 on go ahead or tying FGs in the last 2 min for his career.

Except for starting our 36 year old ace with injury issues in a meaningless game to end the season.

If Sale has some sort of contract incentives to reach, I could understand it. But he doesn't (to my knowledge). So how about not risking the 2026 season?
