The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness

When was the last time we had a true wrecking ball at LB?

We’ve got to pony up in the portal for a safety as well.

UGA ALWAYS exposes our lack of athleticism/physicality in the second level.

Arion and Telander were awful yesterday. We were playing Ben Bolton in the 4th quarter. I’d rather play Harmon at this point

We’ve had a Telander starting at all times the last 10 years. I’m so tired of it. He’s not athletic and he’s never making the right read.

I like Inge and where that room is going but man, it costs every time we play against a UGA/Bama/UF

Am I moron for thinking Moi and Hobbs make a huge difference in that game or our LB’s so bad it wouldn’t have mattered?
We couldn’t stop the run playing straight up. See the first drive of the second half. The safeties had to key run all day to create a numbers advantage. Pretty clear the defensive strategy was to put numbers in front of Stockton, isolate the corners, and make splash plays at a rate that exceeds the rate the corners get beat.
Having those two may have helped us have some schematic versatility.

The “Redmond sucks” takes might as well be a neon sign above someone’s head that says “non ball knower”. We made a gameplan decision to force Stockton to execute throws outside. We don’t flip corners so when Stockton keyed 1 on 1, he stared armside and waited for the window. 4 is on the right. So 4 gets targeted. When we played some robber looks, we have 2 as the roamer. Ya think 2 is gonna read, react, and disrupt a passing concept that has two 5* receivers in it? Probably not.

UGA let our receivers play 1 on 1 and we threw for 400. 17 torched 4* Daniel Harris so bad that he got benched. Wideouts are gonna win straight up 1 on 1s a lot at this level. Just what it is.

The talent gap is closing. Just not on equal footing.
