The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness

This OL just moves so much better and they have a really nasty intent every snap. AND this wasn’t their preferred starting group.
Oh I think they're better. Moe and Pendleton are legit starters and I think Heard has gotten better. I am just reserving saying "they are really really good" until they play some SEC competition.

What do you know
We have pulled up with a Winn Dixie grocery bag full of money to the VIP section.

Adidas has put us back at the table with superstars. Nothing in life is a guarantee, but we are swimming in different waters on 9/4/25 than we were a couple months ago.
It's a value thing. Adidas athletes are worth more to Adidas if they are wearing Adidas next year than if they are wearing a competitor.

I don’t even have to pull up their schedule to know they’re losing to Clemson, Miami and ND.

So I guess it’s theoretically possible they could run the table otherwise, but… no.

They probably aren’t bowling.

Does 'Cuse end up a 5-6 win team? Probably, given the schedule.

Did we see some things that are legitimate reason for optimism? Yes!
I’m happy for you.

Just think people should maybe understand the level of team Syracuse is. Or not understand, no sweat off my back.

I’m glad the program has finally reclaimed a place where there’s not much to learn from playing the Syracuse’s of the world. Wake me up September 13th.

Ty Redmond played 60 snaps in his first game ever and looked great. That could have happened against any P4 team and I'd be pretty pumped.

Nico couldn't hit a deep bomb against anyone..... so that's a positive.

I took agree thought that the Syracuses of the world aren't really a measuring stick, if the program is where we want it to be, UGA is.

Depends on your perspective.

Did I learn anything that makes me change my thinking from losing to Georgia to beating Georgia? No.

Did I learn anything that makes me think we have a better shot at making the playoffs before Saturday? Yes.

Everyone thought Syracuse would be a bottom 3 ACC team to winning 10 games last year. They lost a lot, and I don't think they are going to make the playoffs or anything like that. But that's a solid coaching staff and showed last year they can surprise you. They aren't 2023 Virginia.

I don’t want to be negative Nelly and I’ve seen exactly 0 snaps of Saturdays game but I do have the share the general consensus is that Syracuse is horrendous.
I think Syracuse overall is better than people think. I think they could win 7-8 games. Angeli impressed me with several of his throws and his ability to have a short memory when he made a mistake. He didn't get rattled. He's a really good fit for their offense, and I think they are gonna score a lot of points again this year.

But their defense for sure is their weak link.

At various points in the last few weeks you have also thought Nick allen and Bryce elder were good so forgive me for passing on the thought that Syracuse isn’t bad at football.

I never said Allen was "good", at least offensively I never said that. I also never said Elder was "good," simply that he was pitching good at the time.
