Since the break, Ozzie has a slash line of .273/.339/.436 (.775 OPS) with a .334 wOBA and 113 wRC+ in 183 PAs. These all fall right in line with his career numbers.

More importantly, he is back to mashing LHP. In his 43 PAs against LHP this 2nd half, he has a slash line of .390/.419/.561 (.980 OPS), with a .416 wOBA and 169 wRC+. This the most encouraging sign. The numbers vs RHP have been climbing back towards career numbers for a few months now. But it's his strong side production that has really tanked his overall production this year.

I’m gonna rewatch today, but I’m super encouraged by the offense yesterday. Having *three* running backs that can catch well and the fact we’re utilizing them in the pass has me pumped. I’m more excited by the Star Thomas TD than the Staley TD.

I know you're talking about RBs, but the TD that got erased because of an illegal OL downfield was pretty impressive as well. It won't end up on the stat sheet, but that was really good throw and catch.

QB genius and offensive guru Steve Sarkisian had year three Arch Manning out there pissing down his leg like a puppy on the first day of obedience school. Dude looked worse than Nico did at Ohio State and pajamas was in the middle of a damn contract dispute when we played.

Spurrier had the Arch situation pegged 100% but nobody wanted to hear it.

It's entirely possible he ends up having a good season/career. On the road against Ohio St is a tough opening act. However if he is as good as many seem to think he is, he would have easily been starting over Ewers last year. And it wasn't like Ewers was some worldbeater - he was a pretty good college QB who was a 7th round draft pick. It's like in one offseason he went from "Yeah, he needs a year behind Ewers" to "Hand him the Heisman."

It's possible the Rays were sill trying to compete at the time.

Tonight is a big night for Drake's ROY chances. Cade Horton is going for the Cubs and he currently has the 2nd best odds behind Drake to win ROY. We need to tag Horton for 5 runs or more and it would be nice if Drake knocked in at least one of those runs.
