The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness

I do not.
I asked my guy if I could share. It has a watermark, so I was pretty sure it was gonna be a no but asked anyway. If I find an unmarked version I'll share it.

4 and 14 won A LOT. Did not see consistent beats like this from the last group. Only one game but those two can be a real duo. 14 is smooth as hell. 4 explosive. Don't think BS has the top end of a guy like Justin Hunter but it's a DR/JH yin and yang.
53 is a different player than last year. 75 has been all conference for a reason. Entire OL looked athletic. Heupel can get in his run game bag with this group. Should give us some options we didn't have last year. Not that run game has ever been an issue. Ready to see Sanders.
0 really improved in run game. Lots of impact blocks. Seeks contact.
Redmond really good. Scouting Dept needs a raise.
Getting blitz pressure but need someone opposite 19 to generate pressure in conference play.

Film study ongoing. Crazy the little stuff we left out there even with some crisp elements.

Davis and Kits just find work over and over. It's beautiful.
Matthews played so much better than the box score might show us. Hope he pops in a game soon.

Heard just set edges all afternoon. Creases upon creases around him.

We would eat it up.

Good shouts here.

Good shouts here. Moe on the screen early on is extremely impressive.
We have some guys. The roster has made big strides over the last few years. The team is better than 22. We just bottled up Zeus that year and struck it right.
UGA is always going to be a tough matchup but think everyone else on the schedule is gettable. Probably drop 1 with UF most likely. 10-2 is about right.

Also, VQ starting to drop little nugs about Ricky. Telling ya, don't get your hopes up w that one. No bueno.

Look, I’m not over here trying to pull VFL cards, but in today’s world where everyone pulls for their favorite team and alma maters with zero repercussions, Paul’s fawning over Alabama is pretty gross. At least pretend you appreciate you got a degree from UT

Paul made it by going to Birmingham and running a 24/7/365 Iron Bowl smack talk radio show - I think he got so immersed in that environment he kind of has forgotten where he came from. He also 100% owes his national media/ESPN career to Nick Saban. He'd still be in Birmingham doing that show if Alabama had a replacement-level coach, or hell, even a really good coach who didn't win as much as Saban, during that time.

I don't think I even knew he is a UT alum and originally from the state until maybe 5-6 years ago. You'd never know in a million years he graduated from UT.

Redmond will probably be as good as Ricky by year end. If the rest stay healthy, the group will be good.

Speaking of great takes, here are a few

Ozzie's statcast data has actually improved from what is was a month ago, believe it or not. EV is improving. Bat speed is improving. I'm still inclined to believe the struggles are wrist related and he's still regaining strength.
That’s great! His .492 OPS over the last month sure is encouraging!

There is something called opportunity cost that exists with running the worst 2b in baseball out there every single day.

3 million, 10 million, 100 million, who cares. His current contract is sunk cost. We are compounding it ten fold with opportunity cost.

Since the break, Ozzie has a slash line of .273/.339/.436 (.775 OPS) with a .334 wOBA and 113 wRC+ in 183 PAs. These all fall right in line with his career numbers.

More importantly, he is back to mashing LHP. In his 43 PAs against LHP this 2nd half, he has a slash line of .390/.419/.561 (.980 OPS), with a .416 wOBA and 169 wRC+. This the most encouraging sign. The numbers vs RHP have been climbing back towards career numbers for a few months now. But it's his strong side production that has really tanked his overall production this year.

SS prosect John Gil in Augusta has a 1.033 OPS the 2nd half of this season in 123 PAs, including 5 homers. Turned 19 in May.

You might see him start flying up some prospect lists.
