Take out the Waldrep starts for Murphy and the Braves have given up, 3, 4, 6, and 1 in those 4 starts. And the 1 run game was started by Wentz, who is our defacto #2 at the moment.

Drake has had the privilege of throwing to Elder twice, Wentz/Fedde, Strider with zero command, and Cal Quantrill.

I think it is a function of them having several question marks roster wise (but FSU has those too) and the game is in Tallahassee. Nobody knows if Ty Simpson is good or not, Jam Miller isn't going to play (although I'm not sure that is a huge deal), and they don't have obvious playmakers/difference makers on their defense.

I don't have a super strong feeling either way, but at 13.5 I'd take Alabama.

Admittedly forgot Jam wouldn't be playing. Good points all around here. Probably some excitement for FSU additions, as well.

Just seems much more likely to go higher than that. We'll see. Would love if Bama was just ordinary and struggled.

Castellanos could make enough plays to keep it interesting

Castellanos was a very solid for BC last year when he was healthy. He played very well against a Mizzu defense that was statistically much better than Bama's defense last year.

Florida State has some dudes, but Bama has a lot more. I am not convinced Norvell is a good coach, but I am also not convinced Deboer is a great coach. And Ty Simpson could be really bad.

13.5 points seems right since Bama is more talented. If Ty Simpson has improved considerably, they should cruise. If not, FSU could pull the upset.
