Ohtani would be the perfect fit into our lineup and roster. We don’t/wouldn't need him to pitch this season, and then he fills in the spot left behind of either Fried or Morton.

Jimenez sucks and plays a lazy 70 games a year. Hard pass

I think the only potential negative is if we don’t add a legitimate starting pitcher to bolster the rotation, if we do that then I’m fine with the Grissom/Keleinc risk.

I would not mind seeing Grissom play shortstop and Arcia could be moved in a deal for a starting pitcher coming off a big season and he has a reasonable contract.

As someone who likes defense, I would very much mind seeing Arcia play defense.
