it’s because he has pitched 31 innings in what will be 2 years, and most likely will never return to his 1 good season form. AA was being nice. That’s your reason.

It’s more the implication that we are not keeping talented pitchers (and with a shoulder injury, yes good chance he is never the same) over maybe a $1M difference (if what Kyle said is true)

Guys. Look.

Telling Soroka and Wright to kick rocks is a good thing. Offering 160+ to Nola is a good thing. (I wish he would’ve took it).

We are turning a page or at the very least.. trying to.

My biggest concern is Alex’s refusal to move off his asking price. I understand you don’t want to go insane. I just don’t want to see “the Braves we’re almost there but refused to give another year”

But those last 2 years you'll be complaining which they aren't performing well.

My take on the Wright trade, AA believes they got the best out of him and they have questions about his shoulder and they didn’t want to pay a guy now knowing if he’ll pitch for them again.
