The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness

I am pretty close to this in many ways. The tuohys are scum of the earth people. I have always been extremely skeptical of this entire situation. It’s still jolted me just a little to see that they never actually adopted him after parading that narrative for so long.
Did they have a reputation prior to "adopting" Michael?

The movie, while I actually enjoyed it, is very over-the-top and too sentimental/stereotypical. There are also things in the movie that didn't really happen for dramatic effect, but you know that going in.

I have always suspected that there were likely improprieties behind how he ended up at Ole Miss, but I'm honestly really surprised if it is true that they never actually adopted him. You'd think that would be so easy to confirm. That's almost a Manti Te'o-level of failure of due diligence on anybody who covered the story. I'd be curious to see Michael Lewis's comments about this. Everybody remembers the movie but the movie probably doesn't happen without the book he wrote about it.

I don’t get it? Id rather have 100% Kyle Wright for two innings than Chavez or Yates or McHugh or Hand or Chirinos or Tonkin

Go 6 man, do whatever but it’s all option on deck to compete for game 4 start. We can’t have a half ass plan or bullpen game disaster

The good news is only need 3 starters in the NLDS.

Wish the Braves would give Chuck three weeks off and let him focus on September/October. The division is wrapped up, everything needs to be geared towards October.

And if the dodgers catch us and we have to play one of the central teams or the Marlins in the NLDS instead of the 4/5…well ah shucks, that just sucks I guess

Yeah, I just want a plan, and not a call Dylan Lee and name him starter that morning type plan lol

I marvel and am amazed how good this organization is and how incredibly we lucky we are with how well run this organization is…

Then I remember we chose Tucker Davidson over Spencer Strider to start a game to win the World Series
