I’m not sure anyone in the NL got significantly better…
Reds didn’t add a starter
Brewers added two average bats
Dodgers didn’t add a legit starter or bullpen ace
Philly got Lorenzen but he’s a #5 starter and they didn’t add an OF.
Miami added Josh Bell and Jake Burger but they aren’t needle movers.
Giants didn’t add anyone.
Diamondbacks made small moves
Cubs added one bat

We can thank the expanded playoffs for that. A lot of teams that have sold in the past held on to pieces because they have a shot. I was honestly a pretty boring deadline. The biggest moves were 2 40 year old pitchers
