When I go in the recruiting forum, which isn't often, I don't understand where some of those guys get the interest they do about recruiting. I do pay attention to the class rankings, because there's an obvious correlation between teams with highly ranked recruiting classes and teams that compete for hardware, but individual players bust all the time. Personally, the heavy interest some show in players that are still in the 8th or 9th grade is kind of weird and off putting.I’ve enjoyed not following it anymore. It doesn’t take that long when they actually get on the field to know if they can play or not. Regardless of stars and ranking
Really depends on what you are wanting to do or what degree you are pursuing. I went back for my Masters at the age of 30 and it was very challenging, but I pretty much knew I would make X amount of money more with it. Do it now, every single day that goes by makes it harder IMO.Any of you fellers ever gone back to school as an adult? Is it worth it?
I’ve got a pretty good job as a college dropout but looking for more money.

Surprised he of all people would say that. Kenny is a big sabermetrics/analytics guy, which dismisses the notion about "clutch" being a skill.Brian Kenny, the MLB Network champion of statistics, over here talking about clutch Yadier Molina is because he moved two runners over and hit a 60 MPH bloop opposite field single, makes me want to puke.

I felt terrible for Greene yesterday because only one of those balls (Edman's single to center) was hit hard.
I'm 35 and still pursuing my Bachelors (about 6 classes away)s. I've had my associates since '09. Granted, I don't need the degree while in the military, but I'm sure it won't hurt after.Any of you fellers ever gone back to school as an adult? Is it worth it?

It's such a farce. Remember when the NBA got up in arms over the transgender bathroom bill and moved the ASG from NC? It was lambasted at the time by the right as a virtue signaling move, and how they are treating this China thing totally confirms that. There was no financial penalty for moving the ASG, and they were able to score political points with players and fans, so they'll "take a stand" on that issue. It's so revealing watching everybody scurry and go silent to protect dollar signs.
