Grant Dayton is on the IL10, he has a 2.16 ERA in 10 appearances, given up 3 R, 2 ER on 10 hits and K'd 11 with only 3 BB in 8.1 IP. For the dudgers in 2016 he had a 2.05 ERA in 25 appearances while giving up 7 R, 6 ER on 14 H with 6 BB and 39 K's in 26.1 IP. We just have to hope he lives up to the billing when his toe heals.

I would like to see Luke possibly as that middle relief guy just because of his slider and not having the pressure to close.

But a big if is can he mentally handle the drop from closer to that? He's shown he's mentally weak with his posts having blowing games.
