I just believe if USC does hold up (and that’s a big if) I think the committee is gonna see UCLA, ND and Oregon wins with a conference championship game plus their national brand and the fact the PAC hasn’t had anyone since 2016 and they will get in over us.

You can do all the gymnastics that you want. Our only loss is going to be to the team with the little 1 next to their name on the road by 2 TDs and we couldn’t have possibly played worse.

USCs best win, in theory because I doubt they even get there, is going to be over a team that Ga beat by 50 on a neutral.

I’m not saying that is what should happen. I believe UT is better than USC. I’m just saying what the committee will be thinking and saying.

Yup, for sure. But like you said, I have my doubts that happens.

I guess we technically can’t count out Ole Miss if LSU loses to one of Arkansas or Texas A&M and Ole Miss goes through clean but that’s like a 1% chance

A TWO LOSS LSU team is not 100% in especially over a team that beat them like they weren’t on the field

They also got embarrassed by Florida state in New Orleans.

Luckily, we won’t have to worry about it because lsu, ole miss or whatever else you want to conjure out of the west isn’t any good.

I guess if you did it eliminator style, these are the contenders (if they win out)

Georgia
Ohio State
Michigan
Tennessee
TCU
LSU
Ole Miss
PAC Champ

USC is a huge brand, the playoffs are salivating at the thought of all the WC eyes they would bring. Our best bet if they win out is getting in over TCU which I think we would because we are a much bigger brand.

USC still needs help from Utah to make the PAC 12 title game though.

No one loss team in that conference is getting in without the title
