Ultimately depends on the language in the contract, I guess. I'm not sure what it says. If he's suspended by MLB they don't owe him any money for the length of that suspension, but I don't know if they can void a contract based on an arrest for DUI.
He might skate a violation of the plea deal on a technicality. His deal requires him to complete a diversion program/anger management classes, community service, illegal drug use, and stay away from his wife - I wonder if an unrelated charge like DUI doesn't violate the terms of his deal.Well he took a plea deal that I’m sure required him not to break the law so I’m thinking probably
