Shut him down a few days, let him get some shots, strength and mobility work then bring him back and see how close to 100% he can perform
If close enough let him go, if not shut him down. Why do people feel like they’re entitled to every piece of information
How that guy doesn't have even more of a public reputation is beyond me. He was a great player over a long period of time - 9 Pro Bowls and a key figure on a Super Bowl-winning team, and the early returns on his GM skills have been phenomenal. Yet it seems like only people who follow the NFL closely know who he is.John Lynch being one of the best GM’s in football was not something I expected
Man nah no way im letting you off for this one. You said something like who wants to pay Max 17 million in his mid and late 30’s and I said literally every one on earth beside you.
Teach me how to search this thread in a timely mannerNo, that’s not even close.
Scherzer has $105M owed in deferred money after his contract ends in 2021. He’s only under team control through 2021. Max is owed $15M PER YEAR through 7 years even though he’s not under team control (2028). That’s why I didn’t want to trade for Scherzer because the Braves would be paying $15M a year for a player not even on the team potentially and the franchise can’t afford that.
Buddy, the Braves are paying mark melancon $19MM. I’m pretty sure they CAN afford anything. No, that’s not even close.

BECAUSE THAT IS NOT HOW U PACKAGED THAT JOINT
I want so spend money. I don’t want pay to someone $15M/year for seven years for someone who probably won’t be here.
It’s been a great signing for Washington. And he’s been worth more than the $210M. I’ve never said different.
My argument is, I don’t want my team that won’t go over $150M in payroll to pay $15M/year for seven years for a guy who won’t be under contract. I don’t think that’s some absurd opinion.
