ozzie ops headed towards .600
I’m honestly more concerned about the pitching staff. I could be convinced all offseason about hitters bouncing back but we have major rotation and pen concerns that if it looks similar to this year we may be in for more of the same. They're gonna pick up the option. They shouldn't. I'm not saying give Nacho the 2B job, but they already have 6.5 positions (depending on what they do with Murphy) locked up. They need to free 2B up and see what they can do (coughBrendanDonovancough) to improve that spot
Love Willi Castro as a versatile option all over. Should be a priority IMOYeah I can't imagine they won't pick up the Ozzie option with it being a difference of 3 million. But we need to have a solid back up plan though. Maybe that's Nacho. I wish they would call up Waddell and see if he has anything to provide.
Either way, you can't go into the season thinking Ozzie is just gonna get rebound. We should pick up Willi Castro or Miguel Rohjas and let him be a super sub player. If Ozzie struggles again, you bench/cut Ozzie or and let Castro/Rojas take over 2b.

Sale- yet to pitch in a playoff game, still warming up in the pen
Schwellenbach- Major setback and wildcard for next year
Strider- Velo loss has hurt his full repertoire. Can we learn to pitch at 95? Can he stay healthy as well?
Not much depth or hope behind them ready immediately, hopefully Waldep continues to progress but it’s bleak, and the pen isn’t even worth discussing
