The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

No. No issues on Spectrum.
I can watch it when I’m home on spectrum it’s when I’m not home and there are certain channels I can’t watch on the spectrum app and Bally/FanDuel is one of them. I was able to watch on the FanDuel app for a while but they’ve changed something

I know it's cherry picking a bit, but given Profar only had 4 games to start the year before his 80 game suspension, I don't really count those first 4 games of the season. Instead, I look at his data from 7/02 until now. In those 153 PAs he has a .797 OPS and a 125 wRC+. He's doing that with a 88.5 EV and a .206 ISO, which are both a good bit better than his career averages. His ISO is actually a good bit higher than last season, when he was on roids.

So I think we can reasonably expect production that is much better than his career line, but probably not quite as good as what he was last season offensively. Which would be fine if he were around average defensively. Unfortunately, he's quite clearly a DH going forward.

He’s also the only dude not named Drake that actually works a PA

Anytime you preface dialogue with “cherry picking” and “before his 80 game suspension” I know what follows is going to be a copious amount of horse hockey

dude is an L player and on the back 9 of his extremely meh career. Hopefully, we are actually working to improve over him (we’re not).

If he’s one of your bottom 3 hitters, you are in great shape. If you’re asking him to be your leadoff hitter, it becomes way less tenable.

They needed him to be a role player. Unfortunately, with Ozzie’s demise/Riley and Olson plateauing/Mikey’s first half from hell, it becomes a bigger red flag and a clear area where they can upgrade. But for $28M left and the PED suspension, he’s gonna be on the team. Got to be creative.

I say this with tears in my eyes, but I think the best way to improve the team in 2026 is Profar to 2B, let Ozzie walk. Use Murphy/pitchers to get a young SS and then attack FA with LF (or vice versa). They have to get a legit LH bat. And if the rumors are true they were targeting Buxton, that implies to me that could have been the plan.
