The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

What would we even have offered? Dude has 3.9 fWAR already this year. He wouldn't have been cheap, even with injury history and salary. I guess we could have swapped them Murphy, but that would have been a pretty terrible waste of Murphy's value.

So they sent Waldrep back down? Disappointed but not surprised. I thought he earned another start the way he pitched Sunday. Nothing to lose at this point

He had to go down by rule because he was the 27th man. But the 10 day rule won't apply to him and he can come back up to pitch this weekend.

He was the extra man. They can call him up again for a DH.
They won't need him on the roster until a day after that.
I always feel slightly bad for these guys that yo-yo between AAA and MLB. Every day on the roster is probably worth thousands to them . . . which is a big deal for guys without big bonuses making 50k a year.

Waldrep got like 3 million as a signing bonus. He's probably doing alright.

Either gonna be:

Heard - Sham/Perry - Pendleton - Moe - Sanders

or

Heard - Pendleton - Satterwhite - Moe - Sanders

I kinda think it'll be the first one, with Perry taking the job.

I’ve been staring at the Brewers record for 10
Minutes. I refuse to believe anything about this season is real

Other teams do it, but Alex does it more than anyone else.
