I need better whiff and chase percentage before I can just clearly states he's #1. Still think he can be a stud though.

He’s hit 94 several times in the games he’s been back. He’ll be aight.

Stuff is very good and he controls everything.

Fuentes is 20 years old and already excelling in AAA. Cam is a year younger in A ball. In his small sample in the big leagues, Stuff+ rated all of Didier's pitches as above average, with this slider and curve both rating as upper tier/

He had some issues with location and tipping his pitches. But the pure stuff is legit.

Then I hate to break it to you, if stuff plus considers sprayed breaking pitches as quality offerings that we saw with our 2 eyes, then it might be flawed.

Watching a AAA or AA game you realize just how bad those dudes are, so I truly don’t care until we see the stuff play up at the MLB level.

The spin rates and movement data also agree. 2600+ RPM on his curve. 2400+ RPMs on this sweeper. They are legitimate pitches.

If you were expecting a kid that turned 20 like 5 days before he was called up to come up and dominate, you were expecting too much. He's still learning. He has a lot to learn about sequencing and he's got to work on his location. But the raw stuff is legit.

Dude I’ve been watching this **** for years, I’ve seen all of these guys come and go not just in our organization but as a fan of the game. I know what expectations to have for a young guy, and he wasn’t good. Had flashes, but looked a few years away

How many 20 year old starting pitchers have you seen come up to Atlanta? I promise you can count them on 1 hand.
