The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

I cannot believe they let that bumbling old man put Acuna in the lineup after he tweaked his Achilles yesterday. So unfathomable. Snitker going the Fulmer route and just trying to ruin his legacy at this point.

I really wonder how bad it was before the game. If they knew ANYTHING you’d think at the very least he’d be DHing.

It’s pretty bad when the broadcasters can spot something physical.

How many times in the last few years alone has a player had some type of lower leg injury or discomfort, played, and ended up with an Achilles injury?
The year has been lost since like last December. If Ronald stubs his toe, he can’t play. If he bangs his knee on a desk, he can’t play. If he sneezes too hard, he can’t play. In no world can your galactico be on the field this year if he’s not 1000%.

What Snit did last night is a fireable offense. I don't care if he's been here forever and they were planning on letting him ride into the sunset. Let him go now.
He's had like 5 fireable offenses this year already, beyond the normal dumb in game moves that happen on a nightly basis.

If they were gonna fire him, they'd have done it already.

The manager has now let a pitcher with a strained hamstring go back out, a pitcher with a fractured rib go back out, it took a pitcher to notice AJSS was having elbow issues, and now Acuna got put in the lineup after he said he tweaked his Achilles the day before.

This is absolute malpractice. This is insane. How has not one person in the media called out this bumbling fool. You want to make ****** lineups and ****** bullpen decisions because you're pouting about having to retire, that's fine whatever. HE IS ENDANGERING OUR PLAYERS. RISKING THE HEALTH OF MLB PLAYERS! He has to be fired immediately. He cannot manage another game if he is going to continue to put players health at risk.

And AA too? He is watching it happen with no action taken

I can blame AA (assuming ownership doesn't care and/or Schuerholtz still doesn't have McGuirk's ear) for still employing him, but Snitker has to take some personal responsibility to protect players at some point. This old man "well, I don't know" persona is so gross and incompetent especially when everyone knows he's not going to be here, it makes me think lesser of him as a man. Like he's always been a bad manager, but this year (not that it matters) has ruined any good will he's had with me.

What's even worse if, he was actually a man about it, he could have retired at the end of last year, keep his legacy intact, and get a cushy "pension" with the Braves as some sort of special assistant. Instead, he's being greedy and selfish and put player's health at risk and this is disgusting.
