It’s classic sunk cost fallacy. You could literally put random .650-.700 OPS AAA guys at 2b, SS and CF and gotten more production but people are hung up on value and money that’s dead and gone.

And then you add in the complete black hole in LF and it’s no wonder this has happened. They’re basically running 4 automatic outs out there everyday.
