It's probably the single biggest thing sabermetrics/moneyball gets right as far as overall philosophy. There is value in not making an out.

Jeopardy was a clue on an episode we watched a couple days ago and the girl had no clue what "Moneyball" was. I was very disappointed.

That show does absolutely nothing to dispel stereotypes when there is a sports-related category. Those contestants have such a broad breadth of knowledge, but all have a blind spot for sports.

Been a Braves fan since they moved to Atlanta. Have seen a lot. Not happy now, but Z's act is really tired. Maybe he's Eddie Haas in 'drag'?

That’s probably why we aren’t more worked up. The 80s taught us that it can always be worse. I don’t think Eddie Haas made it past Labor Day of year 1 lol.

No. We're acting like the hitters can't hit, the pitchers can't pitch, and the manager can't manage. It's more than the record. It's the product they put on the field their first two series.

needs a third pitch. needs to work on his control and his second outing only 1 2/3 innings and 66 pitches. As you complain about your beloved Braves, I can complain about my beloved defending World Champions Dodgers...
