I saw some list b4 the season of best players in MLB, and RAJ wasn't even in the top 10. To me, He's #1, but I clearly understand why most have Ohtani #1.


Sadly, I think there's a few people in this thread that wouldn't even have RAJ #2. They still have Trout or Harper ahead of him

I agree with ya... if I were able to design a modern baseball player then Ronald would be the blueprint. I thought Trout was the first evolutionary leap of the incredibly athletic ball player but he has become more a power hitter as he has aged... which is understandable... ohtani is great, but i think his bat will slow down at some point because his swing is a lot like Olson's... very long and many moving parts... i think he will go through stretches where he struggles whereas guys like Ronald, Oneil Cruz, Elly... they can beat ya so many ways... all three could bunt for a double
