Braves have 13 games in 14 days to start the season, so definitely not a “let’s just use a 9th bullpen arm for the first two weeks” type of move

Probably not a bad idea to let Ian in AAA throw as many sliders as possible. No use having him in MLB not developing the pitch or going back to fastball/change up 90% of the time
