I think we are where we are because of 2 things. AA refusing to upgrade in certain spots. And the organization lack of development in hitters. Outside of Ronald and Ozzie what "good" hitter has come out of the org recently? I think AA is going to have to buy one and hope for one. Which do you think can actually be developed from within the stash of hitters we have or the arms? Hedge your bets with one and build the other with what payroll you have available.

It depends on whether Liberty is willing to take on extra payroll that determines if Anthopoulos does anything at the trade deadline.

Marte would be a nice addition but I think the asking price by Miami would be astronomical.

I’d like to think I’m as open-minded as they come but having a hard time a white guy from Minnesota named Chet Holmgren who weights 200 lbs is the number 1 NBA draft prospect for the 2022 draft.

Probably since we are in the same division.

But I was just thinking about the deadline, give me Touki and Huscar back in the pen sooner rather than later.
Trade for Marte and Gallo.
Get TDA back and healthy.
I think that is absolute best case scenario for this org.

I’ve seen the highlights. He is very good. I just did not expect a white guy in Kevin Durant’s body named Chet from Minnesota to be the best prospect since Zion lol
