Yeah; I mean L-R-L-R so not that big of a deal. I’d prefer Markakis and his OBP at the top of the lineup instead of 4th if that’s where we are going, but also not exactly a perfect lineup with what’s we got anyways.

I’d probably do like Markakis-Swanson-Freeman-Ozuna but then Ender hitting 9th stacks two lefties so....🤷🏻‍♀️

lol . . . I get it. It's just something I've read several times in the last few months and it's kind of fascinating to look at the numbers and find out that something that I thought was fundamental really is pretty random.

Analytics are probably bad for message board clicks.

Kyle Muller was actually pretty solid in AA last year albeit walks were a bit high. I want to see him get his shot.
Secondly I think this kid is the one who had never thrown above A ball before his start against NY. Maybe we get on track against him today.

The latest I’ve read on lineup construction is like it’s maybe the difference between 2-3 wins. It’s very minimal.

Managers during the regular season impact very little unless you have a legitimate stud manager (and there’s like maybe 3 total...Bob Melvin, Kevin Cash). I remember Joe Maddon was the best manager in baseball last decade and the game has completely past him by now. It’s the postseason where it kills you.
