The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

A better defender in LF and that second inning ends at 2-1 Rays and maybe the ballgame has a different outcome. Riley would be a better LF option than Ozuna.

Gotta get him off the field
Hey, I watched Ozuna last year for the Cards, and I’ll tell you that you better not take him off of the field. When he gets hot, he is going to carry this team on his back, until other players rally around him. He is so important for your team. He has already saved you one game in New York, for you to win. That is what he does, and I’m sure he will get hot at some point. Man, I’m just believe in Ozuna to get y’all rolling, coming from a cards fan here.👍👍

He means he needs to DH. His defense is lacking

This is a key two game series against Morton and Yarbrough that Atlanta is facing today and tomorrow.

Braves cannot afford any long losing streaks this abbreviated season.

Looks like the Freddie from last years playoff series against the Cards never left. Get that man a Snickers
I love Freddie, but there was (and still is) some serious excuse-making for him. I know his elbow was bothering him last last season, and he had COVID a few weeks ago, but he's swinging at pitches a foot and a half outside the strike zone. A bad elbow should not affect your plate discipline. I see how missing time due to an illness would, but this is a problem he's had going back to last year.

Also, I'm surprised that people aren't talking more about his contract situation - it'll sneak up on folks that he's a FA after next season.

Freddie Freeman has been really good for a really long time. And stuck through a lot of BS too. He has earned the benefit of the doubt. It’s BS system when you’re expected to play hurt/sick and then get criticized for not being your 100% self when your health is at 70.

If Ozuna wasn't awful on defense I would like to see Freddie DH quite a bit this season. I think it could do him some good

Yessir. Gotta give the edge to Khabib. But I won’t be surprised if JG wins it. Especially since this will be Khabib’s first fight without his father.

I think your last point is actually what brings out the best in Khabib. I think he dominates as he’s always done.

I wanna see this Khamzat dude move up quick though. He looks scary good
