The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

Plus the D line was actually moving the line of scrimmage

Very true. I think they also sold out to the LOS after Tua went out and that played a part but I mean, they’re one play away from a one score game in the 4th.

I’ll say this, I don’t know exactly what they did, but this looks like a completely different team on the LOS since the bye.

I could be wrong, but I think the OL rotation was really limited. Rolled mostly with the same five, I do believe, which I think is important in overall OL play. Builds continuity.

The 5 they started with last night is the 5 best in my opinion
Morris
Smith
Kennedy
Carvin
Wright

Yup. Carvin’s not perfect but absolutely needs to keep playing.

Also Trey was a monster last night. Please good Lord let the blood clots stay away from him so he can be a multi millionaire

For our recruiting guys, how we are looking right now? I know the current committed class isn’t great but are we in on a lot of guys or anything?

we are about to pull the Whitehaven trio imo. I think Baron and Hardy are in the bag. If the trio happens Omari Thomas is probably in. We sent Nieds on a secret visit to pull out the stops for Noah Sewell. Last night should have shown the opportunity is there and a few of these guys are that good to put us over the top in those types of games.

I’m betting they give Shrout first team reps this week. I think the well for JG has ran dry.

Edit: Assuming Maurer can’t go.

I don’t think he’s super terrible like some make him out to be but you cannot have him doing **** like that. You play like Jake Fromm, fine, call your own number if you see something. But you can’t when you lose your starting job.

He’s selfish. It’s always been all in his head.

He called his own number, which was a horrible decision, OR he ran the wrong play, which is even worse and inexcusable at this level and this point in his career. He’s broken and that can’t be fixed in a week. Maurer, then if he can’t go, Shrout until he proves he can’t beat SC. IMO
