He isn’t a high character dude at all. But I don’t blame him for going to his dream job, I also don’t think he is as good as he is made out to be, excellent coordinator, average head coach. He assembled an insane coaching staff tho, and I’d be willing to give him another shot.

I'm a ridiculously bitter holder of sports grudges, sometimes for decades, and even I don't really hold it against Kiffin that he took that job. Everyone understood the deal when we hired him -- that he'd leave us for USC or the NFL if he got a chance. It was just typically terrible Tennessee luck that it happened after only a year.

I’ve been watching OU vs. West Va. and they mentioned 2000 and Kansas St. in the same sentence, which for some reason got me thinking about 2001 and the SEC CG and how that’s where everything changed for the trajectory of the UT football program. That could have potentially been two BCS titles in three years. Instead, Alabama is gonna bitch slap us again tonight for the umpteenth time in a row just to reinforce how far away we are from relevance.

I hope you don’t have money riding on that. I’m not sure who provided the bulletin board material of “they don’t look like a national championship level team” or whatever the exact quote was, but we’re gonna pay for that.
