The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

I’m just tired of having a manager that sh*ts his pants anytime a big moment happens. Like I said Snit’s body language in game 3 and 4 was so low confident. That affects the team to me. We need a manager that can interject confidence in tight situations. Snit doesn’t do that.
If my manager got tossed for telling an umpire to tighten his **** up cause he’s got ****ing savages in the box - id run through a brick wall as a fan

snit over there sipping sweet tea gettin the AARP discount on mcdonalds breakfast on the way to the ballpark, reading the newspaper, bumbling over how much he loves everybody

That stuff from Boone was awesome I agree.

I don’t have a problem with how he defends players, but the biggest things from an overall perspective is 1) he manages so tight and you could tell that’s how the team was today. And that’s not surprising since the guy was a minor league coach for 35 years. 2) He seems to not understand rest at all. He ignores the science. Freddie has sucked in September two years in a row. Nick keeps fading down the stretch. JD was terrible the last three weeks. It’s ridiculous.

If managing markakis is an issue in 2020 that’s on AA

Well yes, I agree. But I’ve been talking about the last two years.

Though I’m glad professional ****ing hitter Nick Markakis went 4-33 for his Braves playoff career. What a joke.

Just want to remind everyone that I was on the right side of this argument
I don’t have clue what you said but I don’t think you agreed with me and that makes you wrong.

Alex Gonzalez and Tyler pastornicky were total wastes of space and the organization, 11 years later, still has zero idea how to handle talented players that don’t fit a 1980’s mold.

That’s the thing. They’re not going to make a big splash or take a big risk. Not with the current ownership in charge.

They don't seem to realize that with no salary cap when you sign a free agent and all he costs is money, it's like he's free! You get to keep all your assets!

I'm not even angry at them for not pursuing the Bryce Harper-like megacontracts. It's just that these MFers make moves like an NHL or NBA team who is right up against the salary cap when there's no reason for it. Not to mentiont that the Battery is sitting there throwing off money.

The other thing about this organization and makes me chuckle is if you’re going to be penny pinchers, then one advantage you can give yourself is having a good manager. And instead we run out Snitker, a career minor league coach whose best attribute is “the players really like him!”. It’s pretty ridiculous.

Yeah. Cole and Rendon are off the table but somebody (or 2) in the Grandal, Ozuna, Wheeler tier better be signed.
