Saw Charlie Blackmon pop up on trade rumors

He has a career 1.000 OPS at home and .737 on the road. The fact that Rockies hitters get paid, accolades, HOF recognition, etc is mind boggling to me. Sucks for everyone else who has to play their games on earth.

If Max and Gaus throw it well this weekend we aren’t gonna pursue a SP.. unfortunate truth. Maybe we shouldn’t, idk, but we can’t keep 25 SP forever.

Truth be told, not sure that SP is out there that will be “available” that moves the needle enough to give up top prospects for. Love Stroman but I’m not trading the farm for him. You’re right, as AA acknowledged, we will eventually have to trade some of these guys.

I’m leaning towards a bat and bullpen help.

Seems the only decent one would be Castellanos, but the thought of him/Ronny/Nick out there is scary.

Wonder if Baltimore would consider Mancini/Givens? Honestly have no clue man

totally agree. We're going to have to resist overvaluing everybody and live with the fact that one of these guys we trade is probably going to turn out to be Adam Wainwright or Elvis Andrus. That's just the way it works when you're in a window.
