The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

I personally love soccer. But I won't get on you for not liking it
I dont watch a ton of soccer but it seems weird to like baseball but hate soccer. Both are sports based off lots of set up for usually relatively little payoff. Neither are really instant gratification sports imo.

I think it's the flopping that turns most people off. That's the one thing that I would like to get out of the game. I'll get back to the regularly scheduled programming. Dont want to delve into soccer too much

Flopping in the NBA is every bit as bad as in soccer -- Neymar excepted -- and that doesn't seem to bother people too much.

Soccer players just seem to be comically worse at it though. Sometimes it's pro wrestling level selling.

I might agree with you that comically bad, pointless flopping is worse in soccer. But successful flopping is absolutely more rampant in American basketball, which IMO makes it a worse scourge on the sport. A successful flop in soccer that gives the offending team a penalty or a free kick from a good spot is relatively rare. A successful flop in basketball which changes the game by putting someone in foul trouble happens in almost every damn game. Just ask Grant Williams.

Shame that Keuchel didnt get any run support. That was maybe his best start so far. Kudos to Nola though. He was tough
Great pitching beats good hitting. Some things don't change, & those pitchers last night were dealing. I'm really glad the Braves got Keuchel.
