I wonder if one or the other might be odd man out if they stick with Riley in left? Do they still think he is the future at 3rd or has he proven enough to be an everyday outfielder going forward?

Obviously I think Waters has the bigger potential offensively while probably giving up some speed on the bases and in the field compared to Pache.

I wonder who/what they might could get for Pache and a 2nd or 3rd tier minor league pitching prospect?

Probably not. I think 1 more year so they wouldn't bring up Waters/Pache together. Maybe stagger them somewhat. I was thinking more long term
