The Atlanta Braves - Hello darkness my old friend

When he puts it all together, there aren’t many who have played that can compare. Luckily, he rarely ever puts it all together.

He’s honestly one of the weirdest hitters ever. His 2015 season was the best offensive season of the decade. He sucked in 2016. He put up a monster MVP season in 2017 before getting hurt. He was good last year but his BA was super low. This year his power and walk rate have dropped. And he is still frightening when he comes up in a big spot.

His swing is incredibly complex and he is as stubborn as a mule. Pretty sure the only person he takes advice from is his Dad.

Not a pitching guru but it sure seems like Max loses his mechanics fairly easy. Always pushes it to his left. Seems like it would be a relative easy issue to address

I don’t think I’ve heard Rick Kranitz talk but judging by his expressions he seems like the loudest talker ever lol

I was something on MLBN last month (prolly MLB Central with DeRosa) and basically Bryce was hitting well the first two weeks and he had taken the bat off his shoulder and then went back to putting the bat on his shoulder and started slumping

I'm not even being a homer saying that. Acuna's swing is just smoother and his mechanics are better. He also gives a lot more effort than Bryce
From a pure talent standpoint there aren’t a lot of people ahead of Acuna, it will be more evident in the coming years. He is still only 21.
