Normally I hate terms like this, because they are buzz-wordy and lack meaning, but I don't think Folty has much of a mound presence. His body language on the mound seems to indicate that he lacks confidence, I think he doubts his stuff, and his pitches from a mindset of trying not to make a mistake rather than trying to get a guy out. Contrast Folty with how Webb looked the other night when he got the save. It isn't just body language on the mound, but also how you pitch guys. His walk rate is fine and his stuff would play up in one inning spurts. His psyche would be an issue for sure but he’s got a much better chance of being successful in that role
