I didn’t think they’d let him be an actual rotation mainstay at the big league level so I wanted him as a multi inning pen guy. Better than wasting away in Gwinnett or Jackson.

-Said there’s a good chance the Braves make a run at Bumgarner closer to the deadline
-Gohara is throwing in extended ST
-O’Day is not throwing yet, could be till the ASB before he appears. Chance he doesn’t pitch this year.
-Kimbrel still unlikely
-Said possible Braves move Ender before end of the year and best option would be moving Pache up
-Said Riley isn’t trade bait, will be the starting 3B next year
-Braves wouldn’t hesitate to trade Duvall for bullpen help

To piggyback on the Riley point, we’ll probably know how they truly feel about him if they start getting him OF reps. Because my guess would be that means they want to rush him up but don’t believe in his ceiling.

If he stays at 3B full time - like he has this whole time - then it seems obvious that they really like him.
